Sharing Dance in the Classroom is an annual classroom program for
elementary students, providing high-quality, creative, dance activities
to increase physical activity, mental and emotional well-being. Through
online resources, the Sharing Dance Program equips generalist teachers
in schools across Canada with the tools, skills and resources to deliver
curriculum-linked dance activities in the classroom.
The resources will meet curriculum needs for all provinces and territories, including physical literacy requirements and align with the three stages of the Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model.
